Jo James is a luxury brand and marketing specialist with twenty years’ experience across all lifestyle sectors. Before co-founding One Menagerie, she was Chief Executive of Luxure Magazine, responsible for many creative partnerships including 'Fearless at The Ivy' with Van Cleef & Arpels, to launch the fifth anniversary edition.
Jo has held global directorship roles working with visionary entrepreneurs and principals of COMO Hotels and Resorts, Caprice Holdings and Little Venice Cake Company; winning international accolades for original concepts, creativity and marketing communications.
Now Jo uses her strategic mindset, commercial savvy and creative approach to develop international brands and campaigns. These include: Nihiwatu, Sumba Island, awarded ‘No 1 Hotel in the World’ in 2016 and 2017 consecutively; pioneering residential resort, Minthis; to the global launch of Champagne Louis Roederer’s Cristal 2009 and Pursuit Magazine for Ocean Independence.
